Designologue was conceptualized when the first notification for UCEED was published in February 2015. Ever since IIT-Bombay came up with UCEED, we’ve been concerned about the quality of test preparation that the Design aspirants need to face the challenges ahead. The Design entrance battle has been getting tougher year by year and gone are those days when ‘Drawing’ was all about Design. Our team conducted surveys at schools and colleges and found that the awareness levels for Design, Architecture and Fine Arts were almost dismal. Students either didn’t knew about the career options they may go for in Design, Arts and Architecture, or they were not encouraged to pursue the same. We came across many instances where the student wanted to pursue Fashion as a career but the parents were reluctant due to stereotypes about fashion.

We felt that there is huge void in terms of proper counseling of the aspirants and their guardians and the quality that the test preparation institutes have to offer. We took this challenge, constituted a team that proved itself as one of the best in the country, worked extensively on the curriculum day in and day out, experimented with the classroom delivery and came out with the most innovative tools of learning, took student and parent counseling as a challenge and as a result, today we boast of our empathetic and robust counseling system.
