Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Vocational Studies was established in Year 2001 by Gujranwala Khalsa Education Council. The need to come up with GGNIVS was felt by the trust in response to certain fundamental changes taking place in the Indian education system and business environment. After food, it is education that has posed as the second greatest challenge for human community. It is a sector where the governments of the world countries have pumped in more funds but unfortunately education hasn’t reached the grass root level of the human community. Keeping these environmental changes in mind and looking towards the latest needs, Gujranwala Khalsa Education Council came up with the idea to setup a Distance learning program where a platform was created to provide learning while earning.
