Shiv Vidya Prabodhini is an institute with the focus on the way in which we learn and educate ourselves. The immediate focus being on the prestigious, Civil Services Exams conducted by UPSC. Over the past fourteen years we have felicitated over 100 successful candidates who have cleared the prestigious Union Civil Services Exam.

On the basis of our experience of past fourteen years, we have decided to provide for an enabling and encouraging environment for the students of Maharashtra to appear for the Union Civil Services Examinations. The most competetive exam in India, needs merely the correct application of basics (school and graduate level basic learning) to the contemporary issues facing the Indian administration. A decade long interaction with the successful candidates and the guests of honour for these felicitation programmes have made us realise that bright success in Civil Services is very much achievable, if we study and apply ourselves is the ‘desired’ manner.

And therein lies the reason for our existence. 2014 should be a watershed in the history of Maharashtra insofar as Civil Services preparation and its success is concerned. The expensive logistics, be it books or coaching, shall not be a hurdle for the talented aspirants of Maharashtra. They would be saved the costly displacement in pursuit of success in the Civil Services Examinations.

We have designed a detailed programme to prepare a fresh graduate and even undergraduates for taking up the Civil Services Exams. Be it the CSAT at preliminary level or the answer writting skill oriented Mains or the art of answering at the interview stage, we have a detailed programme ready to be implemented. We have experimented about the same for Civil Services Mains 2013. Around 40 candidates have experienced the enabling and encouraging environment provided by Shiv Vidya Prabodhini and are in the process of entering the administration with higher ranks. 2014 onwards, we shall extend our reach to atleast 100 candidates hungry for success in Civil Services Examinations, every year starting from 2014.
