First government college in district BASTI.
It was established by the British Government in 1911.
The college still running under local government authorities and affiliated with Board of High school and Intermediate Education Uttar Pradesh Allahabad.
It is a Hindi Medium college and started from sixth standard to 12th (Intermediate).
Munshi Premchand who is a famous writer of Hindi Literature was also a teacher of this college.
The college have very old building as it was established in 1911.
A large area of playground is also available here for the students and public.
A very useful public library is also situated in its Campus.
Me and my friends were played cricket and gilli danda in this ground.
Many public convocation, meetings and exhibition are organised here.
I am read 6th standard to 12th in this college .
When the president Dr.A.P.J Abdul kalam had come then I was reading in 7th standard. ..
So I can't forget of this college.
