The Saldiha High School( H.S) has been founded by respected ASHWINI PATI in 1959,with the proper cordial help of local noble persons.It is running smoothly with its glorious TRADITIONS, although it has lost its rhythm of progression for a momentary period,but after taking the responsibility of T.I.C, (R.C.PATRA) the school has revived its old fame, and ranked 1st among all other schools within Indpur Block, loudly announced by The BDO of Indpur Block. Being a senior teacher of this school, I feel pride as I am a dedicated soul for the betterment and upgradation and wish its prolonged success. Its my humble request to all the guardians to take part properly for the better development for the school, and that can only be accomplished , if all of you provide a proper guidence and advice. Thanks to all.....

An old school. One of the teachers is my friend. The school was established by Ashwini Pati. But the golden days of the school is no more. Still the quality classroom teaching is good enough.
The location of Saldiha High School is Indpur , Bankura. It is a State Board school, with a team of 37 dedicated and professional faculties, which are here to ensure that the children get the most from their education.
Saldiha High School was started in the year 1959. With the student teacher ratio being 30:1 the primary medium of instruction is Bengali. The school takes pride of its excellent teaching methodology.
Students from 6 to 12 are taught in this school. The current student strength of the school is approximately 1129. This school's library has 5654 books.
The school has given exceptional results in the academic sphere and its students have excelled in extra co-curricular activities too. 100% qualify examination with 21% scoring first grade.
