Teaching is a noble profession. It was the ‘Teacher’ in me and Gayathri (my wife), which brought us close to one another. Whilst we worked as teachers, in colleges and schools during the First decade of our married life, there was strong desire in us to build a teaching institute in Hubli (our home town) to cater the educational needs of Hubli. We started a modest coaching institute (FEAT Tutorials) in our home for students of Std. X. This was in 1999. In the year 2000 we were the first teachers in Hubli to make use multimedia teaching aids for teaching. We gained recognition as good teachers.
In the year 2004, BASE Bangalore, a leading coaching and training institute in Karnataka State, approached us to join hands to spread quality education in this part of the state. BASE is known as a premiere coaching and training institute in India. BASE has programs to train students to be achievers in the national level IIT-JEE, AIEEE, Medical Excel, and such other examinations. Students from Std. VIII to Std XII attend these programs in large numbers. FEAT Tutorials became a franchisee of BASE Bangalore.
