Hayagriva Academy was started in Coimbatore around 10 years back with only 25 students in the first year. We aimed at training +2 students exclusively for Armed Force Medical College (AFMC) situated at Pune, Maharashtra and Army College of Medical Science (ACMS), Delhi. Our training was very intensive and we were successful in getting our students selected in to the medical colleges.The National Eligibility Entrance Test (NEET) is a blessing in disguise for the aspirants of Medical courses in India. This common medical entrance test will come into force from the year 2013. It is a result of joint proposal by the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD), Medical Council of India (MCI) and the Government of India. NEET will put an end to the countless entrance exams students had to appear for in order to get admissions into the medical courses of their choice. NEET will override AIPMT and state wise medical entrance exams like WB-JEE, AFMC, Delhi-PMT and many more. Students who apply for NEET will have the choice of choosing their preferred medical colleges such as AFMC, AIIMS, JIPMER, WB-JEE etc.. Students who clear NEET will be contacted by the individual organisation like AFMC for their respective interviews. NEET will bring in an unbiased system of selection for admissions by giving preference to students who clear the NEET with a commendable score.
