VishwaBharati Gurukul is a premier Leadership Training Institute located in the heart of Pune city of Maharashtra which was formed with an aim of transforming youngsters into leaders!....... National Defence Academy (NDA) is a premium Institute, training future leaders of Indian Armed Forces. They are destined to be Commissioned Officers in Army, Navy and Air force. In spite of NDA being located at Pune miniscule number of students get selected for the course from Maharashtra. Over the years, the founders of ViswhaBharati Gurukul have observed that thousands of NCC cadets pass out every year with ‘B’/’C’ certificate but rarely get an exposure to immense opportunities available to them in Armed Forces and corporate world. Those few who are optimistic and aware have to travel all the way to Delhi or Chandigarh in order to get SSB coaching. We at Vishwabharati Gurukul wish to bring about a change and would like to ensure and encourage more number of candidates from and Maharashtra be selected for undergoing training at National Defence Academy to be future commissioned officers in the Indian Armed Forces. At Vishwabharati Gurukul a group of retired senior Army officers with impeccable careers and having years of experience at Service Selection Boards, have joined hands with two successful entrepreneurs to launch a movement amongst the youth of Maharashtra. The vision of the Institute is to reach out to the youth in the interior of Maharashtra, create awareness and inspire them to join the Armed Forces and Civil Services at Central and State level as officers. Vishwabharati Gurukul has future plans to launch study centres in the interiors of Maharashtra in coming months.
