Reviews of St. George’S School, Alaknanda, Delhi (35)
Jan 26, 2018
The lights are good for a night match but the ground is average. Grass should be uniform
Jan 26, 2018
One of the prominent schools of Delhi. Well qualified teaching staff. Some problems with administration. But overall a very good option for parents. Smart classes and sports facilities add up to make it a better school than others.
Jan 26, 2018
The school location as well as premises are very good. The classrooms are spacious too and has a large enough playground. Though the washrooms are poorly maintained.
Jan 26, 2018
The school runs on the concept Micro-management (In a negative connotation), whereby the principal closely observes or controls everything without giving any autonomy to the staff or the students even for the trivial activities like going for extra curricular activities in the zonal or state level, which would only help building reputation and name.Pros: The school has a Remarkably graceful infrastructure with wide open spaces, big classrooms and clean corridors.Teachers pay attention towards the academics of the students (only up to class 10), Though, Some teachers in the highers classes surely need a replacement.Cons: The top management of the school is not approachable at all. No extra curricular activities whatsoever, never a note worthy participation in zonal, interstate or national projects. No MUN (Model United Nations). Superficially disciplined students. No recognition of the staff, teachers and/or students. The school canteen needs a serious overhaul. No autonomy to the students, not even for organizing class assembly (its always the same - cliched format) Students don't speak English, not even in the English classes (LOL) even though its a christian missionary school. Sad alumni meet. Lags in the sports great time, majorly due to lack of willingness of the teachers and management. In this backdrop, I would just conclude by saying that I have spent 14 years of my life here. The school is better than others but yet far to be the best. I hope things continue to improve gradually. Good luck and all good wishes.

One of the prominent schools of Delhi. Well qualified teaching staff. Some problems with administration. But overall a very good option for parents. Smart classes and sports facilities add up to make it a better school than others.

The school location as well as premises are very good. The classrooms are spacious too and has a large enough playground. Though the washrooms are poorly maintained.
