At Tattva Tutorials we emphasize on the right methods of teaching. The Focus should be on enjoying the process of learning; Marks will follow. Our approach towards solving common problems of students: Smart in other activities but not in studies. It could be due to variety of reasons such as self-doubt, lack of motivation, stress, peer pressure, exam pressure etc. Each student is different and they react differently. Hence their problems can be solved only by understanding the student’s mentality. It is important to solve these problems before it becomes too big. Students need a mentor who understands their specific problems. A mentor who motivates students when they feel low, guides them when they feel lost, can make all the difference. Student to teacher ratio: A mentor needs to spend time understanding specific problems of a student. This cannot be done in a typical classroom where the student to teacher ratio is high. Hence at Tattva we restrict the number of students in a batch. Tough concepts are hard to visualize and understand. Some concepts can be explained very effectively with the help of videos, 3 dimensional diagrams etc. It also helps to generate interest for the subject. At Tattva we do not restrict ourselves to the typical method of chalk and talk.We use Power Point presentations, animations videos and working models as effective tools. Students do not enjoy studies as they feel the burden of vast syllabus. Huge books can scare students. We provide printed study material to reduce their burden. Study material is precise, condensed and easy to understand. It includes all important questions and problems. Once they feel comfortable they will start enjoying the process of learning. They can spend more time on thinking rather than worrying.
