In a multicultural and multilingual country like India a Lingua Franca is the need of the hour. In a place where people speak Hindi ,Bengali,Tamil ,Oriya Malayalam and so many other languages we need to have a "BRIDGE LANGUAGE" so that we can easily communicate with people from other parts of our country. ENGLISH serves this purpose. A survey conducted in Allahabad and its surroundings areas revealed that 85% of the people feel that their inability to speak fluently in English has been a great hindrance in their career growth.
