Indus World School (IWS) is a chain of coeducational, K-12 schools promoted by the Nalanda Foundation. The first school was started in 2005 at Hyderabad, India and the second one in 2006 at Indore. The school chain has grown to eleven in 2010. Indus World Schools are at Gurgaon in the NCR, Mandi in Himachal Pradesh, Bhiwani in Haryana, Raipur, Ahmedabad, Aurangabad, and Jalgaon in Maharashtra. New Indus World Schools are expected to open at Hassan in Karnataka, Dharuhera in Haryana and a second school at Hyderabad. The schools are located on campuses of 2 to 5 acres (20,000 m2). The junior school (up through Standard II) is called Ananda. Schools with classes above Standard II to VIII are called 'Jigyasa' and classes from IX and X are called Sadhana.
